John Gilardi
1974 – 2024

John Gilardi was not only the co-founder of Harbour Ayrshire. He was also a Trustee and our Treasurer.

Tragically on 23 May 2024, John lost his life in a car accident, only six days after our inaugural ‘Sleep Out’ event, much of which was organised by John.

Harbour Ayrshire will forever be indebted to John for his kindness, enthusiasm and expertise and we shall all miss him greatly.

‘My Heart’s with Harbour – The John Gilardi Legacy’, will be an integral part of Harbour Ayrshire’s future fundraising plans, allowing us to continue the great work that John started and help us achieve our longer-term strategy, which includes funding for a residential rehabilitation unit in Ayrshire.
