Family Fun Day
Harbour Ayrshire love to network and collaborate with services throughout Ayrshire, providing our service users with a “person centred approach” and providing them with options on their recovery journey
The highlight of the morning was definitely seeing all of the kids waving our Harbour Ayrshire flags
A whole year of abstinence
We would like to congratulate Vari, one of our dedicated and much-loved volunteers. Vari is celebrating one whole year of continuous sobriety this week and we are so proud of her.
Harbour Ayrshire’s very own “Wee Stef” carrying a strong and powerful message to those who are still suffering from addiction that “WE CAN RECOVER”
Harbour Ayrshire staff carried out an intervention with Stef back in October 2022 and she has never looked back, she is a woman brimming over with self reliance and contentment
It is a privilege to have Stef as part of our Harbour Team
Anyone who may be struggling with alcoholism or addiction who feels ready to change, you can call our helpline on 01292 623016, we are here, we are free and we want to help you
Our Community Support boys have been busy this week helping families move from temporary accommodation into their new homes
The boys love this service and are always keen to help out where they can.
18 MONTHS MILESTONE
We would like to congratulate one of our much loved Volunteers “Jennifer” on reaching an incredible milestone of 18 months total abstinence from all mind and mood altering substances. Jennifer volunteers at our Wellbeing- 4-Women group in Irvine and she has been an amazing support to the women who attend the group, we are so grateful to have her at Harbour Ayrshire
THE JOY OF 'SIX'
We would like to congratulate one of our much loved Volunteers and Trainee Addiction Worker “Stef” on reaching an incredible milestone of 6 months continuous sobriety and freedom from all mood and mind altering substances.
Kilwinning are on the ball
We would like to thank Linda Martin Rossman for nominating Harbour Ayrshire as a sponsor for some of the Kilwinning Rangers FC Under 20s players. We appreciate the support and the more people know about the service we provide, the more we can steer from the storms of addiction
A new beginning for families
The first Harbour Ayrshire family support group ‘New Beginnings’ opened in the North tonight at Fullarton ConneXions and was a resounding success. 16 people attended (3 for the first time) thanks to our volunteers Alyson Martin Yesdnyl Lyndsey for carrying a message of hope in the inspirational way they do.
On Sunday, some of our dedicated Harbour Volunteers attended the Summer Fair at Fullarton Community Hub
Ally, Paul, Candice, John, Davey and “Wee Harper” were doing service in the community and advising the locals of all of the vital services we provide throughout Ayrshire
Harper definitely stole the show on the day and was flying the flag for Harbour
